Live ammunition is not allowed in the shoot house or classroom.
Training elements must clear firearms and magazines at the firearms clearing post near the gate. Loading live ammunition happens at the range only, under the supervision of the RSO.
Range rules & notes
- ISI Training Center shoot house and range include priority scheduling.
- Range rental period is a minimum of eight (8) hours.
- A range safety person is required. If the training unit does not have a certified range safety officer (RSO), ISI Training Center will provide one at additional cost.
- The training element assumes damage costs associated with negligent range, bus and shoot house operation.
- Rotary-wing aircraft and Life-Flight landing and drop zone available at 30.0576° N, 95.2142° W.
