Hanan "Richter" Yadin

Hanan Yadin is a veteran commander of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and a former member of the Israel National Counter-Terrorism Agency (Shin Bet), where he played a key role in covert operations and protective services for high-ranking government officials. With advanced training from the Israeli Anti-Terror Academy and experience as an instructor at the Israeli Military Intelligence Academy, Hanan has executed numerous high-risk missions against terrorist cells as part of a Special Ops unit.

An expert in urban asymmetric warfare, crisis response, and tactical operations, Hanan emphasizes real-world scenarios and rapid decision-making in his training programs, preparing officers to act decisively in high-pressure close-quarter combat situations. His expertise in anti-terrorism and security training has earned him the U.S. Army Commander’s Award for Training Excellence, and he has trained over 50,000 personnel across five continents and 151 federal, state, and local police and military agencies.

Daniel Elborn

Instructor

Daniel has extensive experience in SWAT operations, tactical training, and explosive ordnance disposal. Since joining the San Antonio Police Department in 2006, Daniel has built a distinguished career, starting as a patrolman in a high-crime area before being selected for the elite San Antonio SWAT Team in 2010. Over the years, he has gained expertise in hostage rescue, vehicle assaults, SWAT sniper operations, and tactical casualty care.

Daniel’s qualifications include specialized training in explosive breaching, chemical and less-lethal munitions, and helicopter-mounted operations. He is a certified Explosive Bomb Technician and a recent graduate of the FBI Hazardous Devices School. Known for his passion for teaching, Daniel has taken on the role of Training Officer, sharing his skills with operators worldwide, helping them master the demanding techniques required for high-risk SWAT operations.

Rick Poe

Instructor

Richard (Rick) Poe is a seasoned aviation and security expert with extensive military and civilian experience. He is also well versed in Urban Warfare, armed and unarmed CQB, including tubular environments.

A 1986 graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a BSc in Aeronautical Science, he served in the U.S. Army/Guard Special Forces and is a Gulf War veteran. Currently, he is a Delta Airlines Captain and Aviation Security Specialist under the Department of Homeland Security.

As Director of Operations and Training for an international consulting firm, Richard evaluates security vulnerabilities and implements corrective measures for civilian and military institutions. A TCOLE-certified instructor, he specializes in flight instruction, defensive tactics, weapons training, and security operations, including VIP protection.

His military career includes planning and executing high-stakes missions with Joint Task Forces and counter-narcotics operations. A decorated veteran, Richard is passionate about teaching and empowering others through education and training, leveraging his expertise to develop and implement specialized courses for diverse clients.

Eric Rausch

Instructor

Eric brings vast expertise in supply chain compliance, diversion control, and law enforcement operations. Eric conducts audits and consulting services on Diversion Control, Controlled Substance guidelines, OSHA requirements, and Supply Chain operations. He also serves as a Senior Trainer for organizations like F.I.R.S.T. and NOBLE, providing EMT, HAZMAT, and law enforcement training on chemical identification and decontamination procedures.

Eric’s background includes over two decades of service as a Senior Special Agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), where he specialized in Clandestine Laboratory investigations, diversion cases, and gang investigations. His extensive leadership roles included overseeing Tactical First Responders, coordinating complex investigations, and managing high-value equipment and budgets. Additionally, Eric served as a Senior Inspector and Firearms Instructor with the U.S. Customs Service, focusing on cargo and passenger analysis, firearms safety, and joint operations with federal agencies.

With a diverse career that spans psychological operations in the U.S. military to high-stakes law enforcement, Eric is a seasoned professional in training, compliance, and operational security.

Jack Cambria

Instructor

Jack is a retired member of the New York City Police Department with 34 years of distinguished service. He served in various capacities, from uniform and plainclothes patrol in Brooklyn’s 72nd Precinct to a leadership role in the Emergency Service Unit (ESU), where he spent 16 years focusing on Rescue, Tactical, and Counter-Terrorism operations. His career includes responding to high-profile incidents, such as the World Trade Center disasters and numerous hostage and barricade situations.

As the commanding officer of the NYPD’s Hostage Negotiation Team, Jack led over 100 negotiators, responding to more than 5,000 crisis assignments. He was instrumental in training negotiators at international, federal, and local levels and conducted specialized training for the U.S. Military at Guantanamo Bay and West Point.

Jack has also contributed as a consultant in the entertainment industry, advising on films like The Taking of Pelham 1-2-3 and TV shows like Blue Bloods. He holds a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and has authored scholarly articles on negotiation. His legacy continues through his work as an adjunct professor and international training consultant.

Mike Riggs

Instructor

Mike is a Viet-Nam Combat Veteran and retired Emergency Management Coordinator for METRO in Houston, Texas, with over 36 years in mass transit and 37 years in law enforcement. His distinguished career began in 1976 with the Houston Police Department, transitioning to METRO Police in 1984, where he served in diverse roles including patrol, crime suppression, and as Crime Prevention Officer. His programs earned recognition from the City of Houston, the State of Texas, and the International Crime Prevention Association.

As a METRO Sergeant, Mike supervised key units such as SWAT, Bomb Squad, K-9, Special Events, and Emergency Management. He coordinated staffing and operational plans for major events, including the Super Bowl, NCAA Final Four, and Hurricanes Katrina and Rita evacuations. From 2013 until his retirement in 2020, he led METRO’s emergency responses and maintained critical preparedness plans.

An accomplished instructor, Mike has taught for TCOLE since 1986, is an adjunct instructor for New Mexico Tech, and serves as Senior Staff Instructor for the U.S. Department of Transportation. He holds FEMA, TEEX, and TSI certifications and received the EMAT Lifetime Achievement Award in 2021 for his commitment to public safety and emergency management excellence. Currently, Mike teaches "Effectively Managing Transit Emergencies.
