Course intended to:
SWAT, SORT & SOF. This is an enrichment course and designed for attendees with existing basic to advanced experience with tactical rappelling.

Course objectives:
To provide law enforcement SWAT and military special task teams with the fundamentals and skills needed of the vertical option.

Course:
2-day program
Minimum 12 participants

2-DAY COURSE OUTLINE
Command Post

• Object (building) analysis, by maps and drone
• Identifying the location of the hostiles and hostages
• Identifying IED on side and roof of building
• Route selection for teams
• Dead wall obstacle
• Utilizing building’s external emergency stairs or indoor
• Marking relevant windows
• Identifying entry for one/two operators
• Coordinating target windows with snipers

Strategy, Operations

• Stealth approach
• Climbing techniques
• Integrating weapons during tactical rappelling
• Roof sweep for IEDs
• Positioning anchor above window, coordinating w/sniper
• Anchoring
• Selecting the rappel technique (silent, rapid, jump)
• Descending to a window, sweep
• Entering a window one/two operators
• Quick release and continue as regular entry team
