High Risk Zone Security Operations

Course Description

This rigorous training is geared for daily life and operations that include convoy protection in war zones such as Iraq and Afghanistan. This highly sophisticated course will fully prepare the operator to deal with the complex situations that exist in high risk zones. This 10-day course is one of ISI's most demanding both physically and mentally.

Subject Areas

  • Advanced rifle, pistol, and SMG combat training
  • Crisis management and control
  • Combat driving, local driving styles, evasive maneuvers
  • Rapid evacuation, route planning and administering first aid 
  • Hostile incident handling
  • Operational emergency tactical response
  • Tactical Navigation - urban and open field
  • Bombs / explosives identification and search methods (IED)
  • Understanding the field - familiarization with hostile and radical cultures
  • Low profile detail and operational behavior in hostile grounds
  • Highly realistic simulations based on current global scenarios 

 

Gear and Ammo requirements

  • Handgun + long rifle or SMG
  • Three magazines per weapon
  • Holsters: fast draw holster & pouch or duty rig
  • Concealment holster
  • Ammunition – 200 rounds per day for each firearm
  • Eye/ear protection (goggles for intervention)
  • Helmet
  • Balaklava hood
  • Tactical vest, or load vest
  • Civilian clothing (matching local culture), call ISI
  • Kneepads
  • Silent communication system (preferred) 
  • Training attire
  • Hat
  • Other specific equipment supplied by ISI
