Rappel Combatant

Course Description

This dynamic course is designed to train and prepare mission combatants for various urban special and covert operations. Students will learn about state-of-the-art rappelling gear and combat rappel techniques that include weapons and tactics. Hands-on training includes being challenged by “surprise” scenarios and live fire exercises.

5 day (Beginner) and 3 day (Advanced)

  • Introduction to the Omer system, the safest gear for the rappel combatant
  • Silent rappelling
  • Jumping and rappelling from a roof top
  • Object analyzing and execution

  • Dry practice and live fire shooting

 

Gear and Ammo requirements

  • Handgun + long rifle
  • Three magazines per weapon
  • Holsters: fast draw holster & pouch or duty rig
  • Ammunition – 100 rounds per day for each firearm
  • Eye/ear protection (goggles for intervention)
  • Helmet
  • Tactical vest, or load vest
  • Harness
  • Kneepads
  • Training attire
  • Hat
