Surveillance – Counter Surveillance

Course Description

This course will prepare agencies to create “An Invisible Unit” for advanced surveillance-counter surveillance of potential terror and criminal elements. Students will learn tracking techniques for both foot and mobile operations with single operators and/or small teams. The course includes intelligence and Muslim cultural briefing, behavior of Islamic radicals, criminal psychology and behaviors, surveillance-counter surveillance tactics and real world exercises. Instructors are Senior Level Israeli Military and Police veterans of complex and dangerous operations.

• Identification of potential hostile environments and consequences of entering such environments
• Recruiting locals, identifying their types and role
• Maintaining a low profile, operational tactical techniques
• Evading and defeating detected surveillance
• Foot and mobile route planning
• Considerations for both building and vehicle observation posts
• Evasive maneuvers foot and mobile
• Firearms training and tactics + concealment (single operator & small team tactics)
• Posture, behavior and psychology of individuals who are conducting potential illicit activities
• Surveillance and counter surveillance exercises
